What Are Call Reason and Call Conclusion Detection in Calilio?

Call reason detection and call conclusion detection are two Calilio AI fields. For each analyzed call, Calilio labels why the customer called and how the call ended. Both fields appear on the call itself, as a ranked report of their own under Analytics, and as a filter on Advanced Report.

What is call reason detection?

Call reason detection is the Calilio AI field that labels why a customer called. It appears as Reason for Calls in the AI Analytics panel of a single call, as the Reason for Calls report under WORKSPACE, and as the Reason Type filter on Advanced Report. The values are the ones Calilio found in your own calls, so the list on the report is your workspace's own.

What is call conclusion detection?

Call conclusion detection is the twin field, and it labels how the call ended. It appears as Conclusion in the AI Analytics panel, as the Conclusion of Calls report under WORKSPACE, and as the Conclusion Type filter on Advanced Report. Values seen on these reports include Follow-Up Requested and Customer Satisfied.

What the two reports show

  • Reason for Calls ranks every reason Calilio found in the period, with the count of calls beside it.
  • Conclusion of Calls does the same for conclusions, and the heading above each table counts the values it found.
  • Both tables carry the same four columns: the value itself, NUMBER OF CALLS, CALL VOLUME (%), and TREND (LAST WEEK).
  • TREND (LAST WEEK) compares the value against the week before.

Where you find them

  • Click Analytics in the left sidebar, then Reason for Calls under WORKSPACE.
  • Conclusion of Calls sits under it in the same group.
  • Each report carries its own period control at the top right, and each opens on Last 7 days.

Reason for Calls ranks what your customers called about.

Conclusion of Calls ranks how those calls ended.

How to see the calls behind a value

  • The ranked reports count calls, so open Advanced Report to read the calls themselves.
  • Reason Type and Conclusion Type are two of the six lists above that table.
  • Choose a value in either list to narrow the table to the calls Calilio labeled that way.

Use Reason Type and Conclusion Type to list the calls behind a value.

What the two fields do not do

  • Calilio produces both fields from the call. Neither report offers a control to add, rename, or merge a value, and the AI Analytics panel shows both as read-only.
  • Neither report covers calls that were not analyzed, so a number without transcription is absent from both.
  • Neither report offers an export control.

Which plans include these fields?

  • The Premium plan and the Enterprise plan include the AI reports that carry these two fields.
  • The Standard plan includes the basic dashboard and call analytics rather than the AI screens.

For a full comparison of what each plan includes, see Plan wise feature restrictions in Calilio.

Why does a reason read as not enough information?

Calilio labels a call it could not analyze with its own value, This Call Does Not Contain Enough Information To Analyze., and that value is ranked in the Reason for Calls report like any other. Short calls, and calls that did not connect, are the ones that carry it.

Contact Calilio support

If a value in either report does not match the call it counts, contact our support team with the date and time of the call with your timezone, the value shown, and the period you had selected.
