How to Set Up Call Transfer in Calilio?

Call Transfer in Calilio allows you to redirect calls to another team member or an external number, ensuring smooth communication and faster resolution for your customers.

Step 1: Log in to Your Calilio Account


Step 2: Go to the Number Section

From the left-hand navigation panel, click on Numbers to view all your assigned numbers.


Step 3: Open Number Settings

Find the specific number you want to configure. Click the three-dot menu and select Number Settings.


Step 4: Enable Call Transfer

Scroll down to the Call Transfer section and toggle the switch ON to activate it.


Step 5: Set Announcements

You can configure different messages to keep your callers informed during the transfer:

  • Transfer Start – Message that plays when the transfer begins.
  • If Answered – Confirmation message when the call is successfully connected.
  • If Unanswered – Message if the call cannot be completed.

Choose between recording a custom audio greeting or uploading a pre-recorded file.


Step 6: Access the Transfer Option in the Dialer

When on a live call using the Calilio dialer, you’ll see the Call Transfer button on the interface.


Step 1: Transfer Your Call

Select how you want to transfer the call:

  • Internal Transfer – Redirect the call to another Calilio team member.
  • External Transfer – Forward the call to an outside number (e.g., a client, partner, or secondary line).

⚡ Note: Call Transfer settings must be configured individually for each number if you manage multiple numbers in your Calilio account.


✅ Tip: Call Transfer is especially useful for routing customer calls directly to the right department or specialist, reducing wait times and improving caller satisfaction.
