A backup card in Calilio is a secondary payment method that automatically processes payments if your primary card fails or is declined. This ensures uninterrupted service by providing a seamless fallback option for transactions, such as subscription renewals or call credits.
Follow these step-by-step instructions to set up your backup card in Calilio:
Step 1: Log In to Your Calilio Account
- Go to the Calilio website.
- Log in using your credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to Payment Methods
- Click on the Settings tab in the left sidebar.
- Select Billing.
- Choose a Payment Method.
Step 3: Set a Card as Backup
- In the Payment Method section, you’ll see a list of your saved cards.
- Locate the card you want to set as the backup.
- Click on the three dots (⋮) on the right side of the card.
- A dropdown menu will appear with options:
- Set as Default
- Set as Backup
- Delete Card
- Click Set as Backup.
Step 4: Confirm Your Backup Card
- The selected card will now be labeled as "Backup Payment Method".
- You can change or update your backup card anytime by repeating the steps above.
Important Notes
- You can only set one backup card at a time.
- If your primary card fails, Calilio will automatically attempt to charge the backup card.
- Ensure your backup card has sufficient funds to avoid service interruptions.
