How to Port an Australian Number to Calilio
Portable Numbers
- You can port the following types of numbers to Calilio:
- Geographic (Local) Numbers: (+612, +613, +617, +618)
- Mobile Numbers: (+614)
- Toll-Free and Shared-Cost Numbers: (+611300, +611800)
- Toll-Free 13 Numbers: (+6113XX)
- Toll-Free Number Activation
Restrictions
Voice-Only Capability: Most international numbers, except mobile numbers, only support voice. Mobile numbers support both voice and SMS.
Category-C Geographic Numbers: If your geographic numbers are in Category C and grouped together, port them simultaneously or disassociate them before porting. To speed up the process, confirm the category of your numbers with your current provider before requesting a port.

Required Information
Before starting the porting process, gather the following:
- Letter of Authorization (LOA): Signed and dated within the last 30 days.
- CAAA Form and MNP Template: Required for porting mobile phone numbers.
- Authorization Form: Required for geographic and toll-free numbers.
- Category Confirmation (for Geographic Numbers):
- CAT A (Simple Port): No attached complex services (confirm with your provider).
- CAT C (Complex Port): Services like ISDN, Line Hunt, etc., will be cancelled during porting.
- Copy of Your Most Recent Phone Bill: Dated within the last 30 days.
- Regulatory Compliance Documentation: As applicable.
Timeframe
Toll-Free and Geographic Numbers: The process can take up to 6 weeks after submitting documentation, depending on the complexity and your current provider's response time.
Mobile Numbers: Expect the port to complete in roughly 3 week.
