How to Port a US Number to Calilio
Portable Numbers
You can port the following types of US numbers to Calilio:
- Geographic Numbers: Includes mobile, VoIP, and landline numbers.
- Toll-Free Numbers
Restrictions
- Geographic Coverage: In rare cases, certain numbers may not be portable due to limited geographic coverage.
- PIN Requirements: Many mobile providers require an account number and PIN for porting. Make sure to check with your current provider and include the PIN in your porting request if needed.
Required Information
Before submitting your porting request, ensure you have the following:
- Letter of Authorization (LOA): Signed and dated within the last 30 days.
- Name and Address: Ensure they match your Customer Service Record (CSR) with your current provider.
- Copy of Your Most Recent Phone Bill: Dated within the last 30 days.
- Current Provider's Account Number
- PIN (if required): Some providers require an account PIN to process the port.
Timeframe
Once all required documents are submitted, the porting process will take:
- Standard Ports (Fewer than 50 Numbers): 2 - 4 weeks, depending on your current provider.
- Bulk Ports (More than 50 Numbers): 4 - 6 weeks, barring any rejections from your current service provider.
