# Why Are Analytics Not Showing Recent Data?

Analytics that are not showing recent data are usually set to a different period. Every report under Analytics opens on Last 7 days and has a range of its own, so check the control at the top right first, then check whether you are on a counting report or an AI one.

Work through these in order. The first two explain most cases, and both are visible on the screen you are already looking at.

## The report is showing a different range

* Read the control at the top right of the report. It names the period the figures cover.
* Every report under Analytics opens on Last 7 days, so a call from last month is outside it.
* Open the control and pick a wider range, up to Last 24 months.

*Read the range control before you act on a figure.*

## The range was set on a different report

* The range does not carry between reports. Setting Last 30 days on one report leaves the next one on Last 7 days.
* Returning to the first report starts it on Last 7 days again.
* Set the range on each report you open, and check both controls before comparing two reports.

*A second report opens on Last 7 days whatever the first one was set to.*

## The call has not been analyzed

* The AI screens work on analyzed calls, and the general reports work on all of them, so the two sets of figures differ by design.
* The AI Dashboard states this itself: Total Calls and Transcribed Calls are separate tiles, and the second is the smaller number.
* If a recent call is missing from the Advanced Report but present in Member Report, it has not been analyzed. Check that transcription is on for that number.

*Transcribed Calls is a smaller set than Total Calls.*

Transcription is turned on outside Analytics, on the number itself. See [__How to enable auto call transcription__](https://support.calilio.com/en/article/how-to-enable-auto-call-transcription-1i644xs/).

## The figure belongs to a number rather than a member

* Missed calls are counted per number, not per member. Calilio states this in the tooltip on the Missed Calls total.
* A number shared by several members raises the missed count for each of them, so a member total can look higher than their own activity.
* Compare against Number Report, where the same missed calls appear once, against the number they arrived on.

*The Missed Calls total carries Calilio's own note on how it is counted.*

## The Dashboard is showing its own period

* The Dashboard does not share the Analytics range control. Analytics Overview has its own chips, and Real Time has no period at all.
* The Real Time tiles report the moment they last synced, and a last-synced line above them says when that was.
* The picker at the top right may be scoped to one member rather than All Members.

## Why is a report empty when the Dashboard shows calls?

An empty report usually means the range on that report excludes your calls, or the report only covers analyzed calls. Widen the range first. If the report is one of the AI screens and it stays empty while Member Report shows calls, none of those calls has been analyzed yet.

## Do the reports refresh on their own?

The reports under Analytics state no refresh interval and carry no last-synced line, so reload the screen when you want current figures. The Real Time panel on the Dashboard is the exception: it shows when it last synced and carries a refresh control beside that line.
