# How to port OpenPhone number to Calilio?

||| **💡Remember: Your phone number must remain active during the porting process.**

Step 1: If your number is portable and want to switch your carrier to Calilio, submit an email or live chat request to our porting team.

Step 2: Once we receive your request, our number porting team will contact you. A representative will explain all the requirements and required documents to you.

Step 3: You can send your documents via email to support@calilio.com Don't forget to include all the required paperwork and information.

Step 4: Once we receive your documents, our team will check them. If they match our requirements, we’ll start the porting process. If something needs correcting, we’ll happily guide you.

Step 5: Upon completion of the porting process, you will receive a notification. Now you can access the number easily using the Calilio app.

Step 6: Once your OpenPhone number is successfully ported to Calilio, you can cancel your OpenPhone plan.
