# How to Enable Call Notifications in the Calilio Mobile App?

Missing important business calls because you didn't receive notifications can cost you opportunities. Ensuring call notifications are properly enabled on your Calilio mobile app is essential for staying connected with customers and colleagues.

This guide shows you how to enable call notifications on both Android and iOS devices.

## Enable Notifications on Android

### Step 1: Open Device Settings
1. Locate the **Settings** app on your Android device (gear icon)
2. Tap to open Settings

### Step 2: Navigate to Notifications
1. Scroll down and tap **"Notifications"** or **"Apps & notifications"**
* On some Android versions, you may need to tap **"Apps"** first, then **"Notifications"**

### Step 3: Find Calilio App
1. Look through your app list to find **"Calilio"**
2. Tap on **Calilio** to open its notification settings
* You can also use the search function to quickly find Calilio

### Step 4: Enable Notifications
1. Toggle on **"Allow Notifications"** or **"Show notifications"**
2. Ensure the switch turns blue or green (enabled state)

## Enable Notifications on iOS (iPhone/iPad)

### Step 1: Open Device Settings
1. Locate the **Settings** app on your iOS device (gray gear icon)
2. Tap to open Settings

### Step 2: Navigate to Notifications
1. Scroll down and tap **"Notifications"**

### Step 3: Find Calilio App
1. Scroll through the list of apps to find **"Calilio"**
2. Tap on **Calilio** to open its notification settings

### Step 4: Enable Notifications
1. Toggle on **"Allow Notifications"** at the top
2. The switch should turn green (enabled)

## Additional Settings to Check

### 1. Ensure "Do Not Disturb" is Off
**For Android:**
1. Swipe down from top of screen to open Quick Settings
2. Check if **"Do Not Disturb"** is active (moon icon)
3. Tap to turn it OFF if enabled
4. Alternatively: Settings → Sound → Do Not Disturb → Turn OFF

**For iOS:**
1. Swipe down from top right corner (iPhone X and later) or swipe up from bottom (older iPhones) to open Control Center
2. Check if **"Do Not Disturb"** moon icon is highlighted
3. Tap moon icon to turn it OFF
4. Alternatively: Settings → Focus → Do Not Disturb → Turn OFF

**Important**: If you need Do Not Disturb on, add Calilio to allowed apps:
* **Android**: Settings → Sound → Do Not Disturb → Exceptions → Apps → Add Calilio
* **iOS**: Settings → Focus → Do Not Disturb → Apps → Add Calilio

### 2. Grant App Permissions
Calilio needs certain permissions to function properly:
**For Android:**
1. Go to Settings → Apps → Calilio → Permissions
2. Ensure these permissions are granted:
* **Phone** - Allow (for making and receiving calls)
* **Notifications** - Allow
* **Microphone** - Allow (for call audio)
* **Contacts** - Allow (optional, for contact integration)

**For iOS:**
1. Go to Settings → Apps → Calilio
2. Ensure these permissions are enabled:
* **Notifications** - Allow
* **Microphone** - Allow
* **Contacts** - Allow (optional)
* **Cellular Data** - Allow (for calls over data)

✓ Device notifications enabled for Calilio
 ✓ Do Not Disturb is OFF (or Calilio is in exceptions)
